The Board of Directors of the South Brevard Debutantes plays a critical role in guiding the mission and vision of the organization while ensuring its continued success and sustainability. Comprised of dedicated community leaders, professionals, and philanthropists, the Board brings a wealth of experience, expertise, and passion to support the organization’s programs and initiatives.

Emily Browder

Emily is an active volunteer in her community of Cocoa Beach. She has held several leadership positions in the Cocoa Beach Woman’s Club and will be the 3rd Vice President in the upcoming club year. She has done extensive volunteering at Cocoa Beach High School, including helping to create the Cocoa Beach IB Booster Club and serving as its President. A substitute teacher, Emily also fosters kittens for the Brevard Humane Society. Emily has served on the Board since 2021 and is the immediate past Gown Registrar.

Emily is a graduate of the University of Florida. She worked at the Florida School for the Deaf and Blind as a Speech Therapist in the Deaf department and as a Teacher of the Hearing Impaired in Georgia. She is married to Tom and has two daughters, Anne-Lawton (2021 Debutante), who is earning her master’s degree at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland and Creighton, a sophomore at Rollins College.

Amy Bridgers-Grenevicki

Amy earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the Medical College of Virginia and has dedicated more than 33 years to the field as a licensed dental hygienist. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated strong leadership and a commitment to advancing her profession, serving as Past President of the Brevard County Dental Hygiene Association, Dental Hygiene Liaison to the Florida Board of Dentistry, and District Trustee for the Florida Dental Hygiene Association.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Amy has been actively involved in her community, including serving as Secretary for the BSA Troop 380 Committee. Since 2023, she has served on the South Brevard Debutantes board. Amy’s daughter, Anna, made her debut in 2022.

Amy is a proud mother to Anna and Lance and values the opportunity to contribute her experience, leadership, and passion for service to the organizations and community she supports.

Margaret Mary Kehoe

Margaret Mary is a Chicago native who spent her summers in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, and remains closely connected to her Midwest roots. She began her career in accounting and human resources, working across the software, engineering, and manufacturing industries before relocating to Melbourne, Florida in 1997.

In Melbourne, she held roles with KMC Telecom and spent 12 years with the Hilton and DoubleTree Melbourne Beach in group sales and catering. She currently works in accounting and human resources at Hammond Kitchens & Bath. She has also been actively involved in her family’s business, Hamilton Electric, for more than 27 years.

Margaret Mary brings over 20 years of experience in event planning, including large-scale galas, and has a strong passion for fundraising and community involvement.

Her connection to South Brevard Debutantes is personal as well as professional. Both of her daughters participated as debutantes: Miss Amber Rose Hamilton in 2011 and Miss Sarah Gabrielle Hamilton in 2022.

Tehani Kisor

Tehani holds a bachelor's degrees in Psychology and Business Administration and a Master's Degree in Human Resource Management. Her professional experience includes marketing and agent recruitment for life insurance companies, human resources, and teaching English in Japan.

A dedicated volunteer and community leader, Tehani has served in numerous leadership roles with military spouses' organizations, her church, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, and Brevard Public Schools. She chaired the Brevard County MS Walk Committee and was recognized as Brevard Public Schools' Volunteer of the Year in 2008.

As an educator, Tehani taught Pre-K through sixth grade in Exceptional Education and served as a Reading Intervention Specialist. Following her retirement from education in 2024, she has continued her commitment to service through volunteer work in her church, community, and literacy programs. Tehani believes strongly in giving of one's time, talent, and treasure and is grateful for the support of her husband, John, and their family.

Amanda Shaw Lewis

A graduate of Rollins College with a Bachelor of Arts degree, Amanda made her career as an educator in both Brevard and Seminole Counties, where she made a lasting impact with her students within every classroom she taught.

A 1998 Debutante herself, she has remained deeply committed to the organization, dedicating over 13 years of service on its Board of Directors. In addition to her longstanding involvement with South Brevard Debutantes, she actively contributes her time and leadership to several local philanthropic organizations, which reflects her enduring passion for community engagement and service.

Kim Kennedy Nowakowski

Kim earned her Juris Master from Florida State University, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Health Sciences, combining her passion for healthcare with a strong foundation in legal and regulatory studies.

Kim has demonstrated a deep and sustained commitment to community service. She served as a Troop Leader with the Girl Scouts of Citrus Council; she has also volunteered for more than seven years as an animal advocate with the Brevard County Sheriff's Office South Area Care Center and is a former Compassionate Companion with the No One Dies Alone Program. Kim is also the current Sustainer Director for the Junior League of the Space Coast.

Kim has been a member of the South Brevard Debutantes Board of Directors since 2021, where she is passionate about mentoring young women, fostering leadership development, and advancing the organization’s mission of service and character. Her commitment to excellence, integrity, and community impact reflects the values at the heart of the South Brevard Debutantes program. Kim’s daughter, Daryl, debuted with the program in 2024.

Linda Jeffreys Scholle

Linda's connection to South Brevard Debutantes spans generations. She was a member of the Class of 1989 and her daughter, Emma, debuted in 2025.

Linda is a trusted Space Coast Realtor® with Denovo Realty, serving buyers and sellers throughout Brevard County. A longtime Brevard County resident since 1975, Linda combines extensive local knowledge with a genuine passion for helping clients navigate the real estate process with confidence and ease.

Before beginning her real estate career, Linda built a diverse professional background as a Certified Surgical Technologist, Certified BLS Instructor, Brevard County educator, and graduate of both the University of Central Florida and the Brevard Law Enforcement Academy. In 2015, she was honored as Teacher of the Year, reflecting the dedication and professionalism she brings to every client interaction and our organization.

Heather Thalwitzer

Heather Thalwitzer grew up in Winter Park, Florida, and now proudly calls the Space Coast home. She is a dedicated wife and mother who is passionate about serving her community through volunteerism and leadership. Heather serves as a Girl Scout leader, and volunteers regularly at her child’s school.

In her free time, Heather enjoys traveling, exploring the outdoors, cooking, discovering new restaurants, and spending time with family and friends. An animal lover at heart, she shares her home with four dogs and a small flock of chickens. Heather is committed to helping young women develop confidence, leadership skills, and a spirit of community service through the South Brevard Debutantes program.
